The cultures' Club

My capstone project is The Cultures’ Club. The club main objectives are to introduce the Moroccan culture besides the Middle East culture to my American host school staff and students. I will meet the interested students and club members on a regular basis so as to  share different presentations and workshops about the different aspects of Morocco’s culture and the cultures of other Middle East countries  such as Egypt , Syria , and Palestine . Frederick Douglass High school has a number of students from Middle East. This will help our Arabic Culture Club to vary the activities and engage more students. The workshops and presentations will mainly be about the Arabic cuisine , the Traditional clothes , cooking demo sessions , The national anthem and flags , the Historical monuments and many different topics. The club will also  be a great chance for those who are interested in learning Arabic . Furthermore , we will cooperate with the school library to create the Arabic corner that will include a number of books and readers in Arabic.
