By the end of this lesson Students will be able to
- Say the names of the four seasons in Arabic.
- Describe the weather in each season using adjectives such as (hot=حار, cold=بارد, warm= دافئ etc) .
- compare the seasons in USA and the Arab World.
- Answer questions about what's their favorite season in Arabic.
1. The students are supposed to say Monday to Sunday in Mandarin.
2. The students are supposed to ask and answer “What day is it today(Jin tian xi qi ji?)” “Today is …day.( Jin tian xing qi …)”.
By the end of the lesson , pupils would be able to:
● Recognize names of the seasons.
● Express I like ( season)
● Answer questions of “Do you like ( season)?”
In this lesson, I am presenting the seasons as first time and doing practice on the days of the weak. I presented the seasons through handouts and worksheets while practices the days through three activities. The activities were unscrambling the days, unscrambling the lyrics of the song of the days and matching the Arabic days and seasons to the English ones.
By the end of the lesson, Students will be able to:
1. Read and write the days of the week in Arabic.
2. Read, match and unscramble the given letters to make words of the day of the week.
3. Ask and answer about the order of days of the week.
They can understand the sentences with “zuotian qiantian mingtian and houtian ” ,which means yesterday, the day before yesterday,tomorrow,the day after tomorrow.
The students can understand and say the date and day of today correctly.
The students can say days in a week in mandarin.
