Students will be able to:- 1- Read and write the letters and numbers. 2- Match the English numbers with the Arabic ones. 3- Match letters with words. 4- Complete the missing letters in short words. 5- Rearrange the numbers ascending and descending. 6- Draw flash cards of numbers and letters. 7- Play games using Arabic numbers. 8- Write correct forms of the letters (initial, middle and end). 9- Know the different between social and antisocial letters. 10- Differentiate between the consonants and vowels. 11- Realize who the Arabs are. 12- How many countries speak Arabic? 13- How many people speak Arabic? 14- Some habits, customs and traditions about the Arabic world. 15- Be aware of some cultural issues when dealing with the Arabs or if they travel as tourists to an Arab country. 16- See real places in Egypt such as Alexandria, Cairo Luxor, Aswan and Giza.

As a part of connecting Middle Eastern culture and history to students’ learning, we will conduct a fieldtrip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to have an eye opener for our students on Middle East history. Students will use their Arabic classroom experience in interpreting the collection and will benefit by gaining tremendous insight into this great culture.
