Bio: 
Carmen Villalobos is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Puerto Rico and she earned her master's degree in educational administration with a concentration in curriculum and supervision from Fayetteville State University. Mrs. Villalobos also holds a master's degree in Spanish from Appalachian State University. She currently works as the K-12 world language curriculum specialist for Cumberland County Schools, a position she has held since 2007. Prior to this position, she taught high school Spanish, and has worked as an Advanced Placement Spanish language and culture table leader and reader for over 15 years. She became a teacher and administrator to help students understand the value of learning a foreign language by providing opportunities to collaborate, communicate, and succeed in an interconnected global society. She was the TCLP mentor teacher to Wael Ahmed from Hurghada, Egypt in 2016-2017 and to Passant Elaraby from Cairo, Egypt in 2017-2018. Currently, Mrs. Villalobos is the mentor teacher for Mohammed Etify from El-Ghanayem, Egypt.
